2017 Primary Election – Interfaith Works City Council Candidate Questionnaire: A Voter Resource

2017 Primary Election

City Council Candidate Questionnaire: A Voter Resource

As a aid for voters, Interfaith Works developed a questionnaire for candidates for open City Council seats appearing on the August 1, 2017 local primary ballot.

Here (in PDF format) are responses to the questionnaire for candidates running in the four contested primary races for Council seats in Lacey and Olympia.

Responses are organized by Position. Click on the position below to open the document.

Please note that we submitted the questionnaire to all three candidates for Tumwater City Council, Position No. 6. None of the candidates — Jonathan Kaplan, Debbie Sullivan and Brian Tomlinson — chose to respond. Sorry, Tumwater voters!

In addition, candidates Ken Balsley and Rick (Ricardo) Nelsen for Lacey Position No. 7, and candidate Daniel (Danny) Marsh for Olympia Position No. 7 chose not to respond.
