Join us for an evening with Arinna Weisman to explore activism, overcoming ignorance, fear, and paralysis to open fully to joyful, energetic and principled action.
How can the Buddha’s teachings guide us through these scary political times? How do we use our practice to keep afloat, stay awake, and act to alleviate suffering? What does right action look like in these times?

Arinna Weisman has studied insight meditation since 1979 and has been teaching since 1989. Her root teacher is Ruth Denison who was empowered by the great teacher U Bha Khin. She is the guiding teacher for Lotus Sisters Sangha, Seattle. She is co-author of the book, A Beginner’s Guide to Insight Meditation and a contributor to Women Practicing Buddhism; American Experiences, edited by Peter Gregory and Susanne Mrozik.
